Overview

Mesa Springs is a 72 -bed behavioral hospital located in Fort Worth, TX. The hospital provides a full continuum of care for those suffering from a mental health issue and/or chemical dependency. This includes inpatient treatment, partial day programming and intensive outpatient services. Assessment services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mesa Springs is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Camp Bowie location! This full-time position has a set schedule of Monday to Friday from 7AM to 430PM. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K, Insurance Benefits & more!

Position Details

 

  • The partial hospitalization nurse directs the nursing care for the PHP patients in the outpatient setting for the hospital.
  • Outpatient RN organizes and plans nursing education groups; orders, follow up on and may administer medication; performs urine drug screens and vital signs daily.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Currently unencumbered RN license in state of practice.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
  • Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required.

 

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of related experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, substance abuse/additions preferred.
